The sculptures

What exactly is a Just An Era piece?

A collectible automotive design object: an 80s silhouette under a sculpted drape, digitally modelled, resin-printed and hand-finished. It is a sculpture, not a scale model or a toy.

What is it made of?

Solid cured resin, sanded and primed, then painted and lacquered by hand. The drape is matte, the exposed body high-gloss.

How big are they?

Three sizes: Small around 12 cm, Medium around 19 cm, Large around 30 cm. Each product page lists the exact length and weight per size.

Is each one really unique?

Yes. Every piece is individually numbered on an engraved plaque and comes with a hand-signed certificate. Small variations are the mark of hand-finishing.

Ordering

How do I order?

Choose a piece and a size, add to cart and check out. Because everything is made individually, production begins once your order is placed.

What does "made individually" mean?

Each piece is produced for you after you order, not pulled from a shelf. This is why there is a short wait and why nothing shows a fake "only 2 left" countdown.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Yes, within 48 hours of ordering, before finishing begins. Write to the studio and we will adjust the size or cancel for a full refund.

Do you restock or sell out?

Catalogue pieces are always available to order. A model only shows as unavailable if it is intentionally withdrawn.

Custom projects

Can you make my specific car?

Often, yes. Send references through the custom form and you will receive a fixed quote. A completely new silhouette is sculpted from scratch.

How much does a custom piece cost?

A new colour on a catalogue shape starts from €100, a modified finish from €150, and a brand-new silhouette from €200. Every project is confirmed as a single fixed quote first.

How long does a commission take?

Usually four to eight weeks from approved quote to dispatch. A scratch-built silhouette sits at the longer end.

Can I request a custom colour on a catalogue piece?

Yes. Note your preferred colour at checkout or start a custom project. We cannot guarantee an exact match from a single photo, but we get close and confirm with you.

Production

How long until my piece is made?

Production takes about two to four weeks. You will get an estimate at checkout and an update when your piece is on its way.

Where are they made?

Every piece is sculpted, printed and finished by one pair of hands in France.

Why do pieces vary slightly?

Because they are finished by hand. Tiny differences in drape and surface are expected, and are part of owning a made object rather than a mass-produced one.

Shipping & damage

Where do you ship and how much?

Worldwide, insured. Rates and any duties are calculated at checkout by destination. EU delivery is typically two to four days after dispatch.

How is it packaged?

In protective foam inside a rigid box, with the certificate. It is built to arrive safely and to store the piece when not displayed.

It arrived damaged. What now?

Email a photo within 7 days of delivery. Because shipping is insured, we will repair or remake and resend at no cost to you.

Care

How do I clean it?

Dust with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid solvents and household cleaners, which can dull the lacquer.

Will the paint fade?

Keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight. As with any painted object, strong UV over years can affect colour, so a shelf away from a bright window is ideal.

How should I display it?

On a flat, stable surface, held by the body rather than the drape edge. A shelf, a desk or a cabinet all work. The resin is solid but rigid, so avoid drops.
